Arsenal’s interest in Trossard hinges on whether they can get a deal done for top target Mudryk
Chelsea have been accused of ‘financially bullying Arsenal’ after hijacking the Gunners’ long-term pursuit of Shakhtar Donetsk star Mykhailo Mudryk.
The Ukrainian outfit has confirmed the clubs are ‘very close’ to an agreement for the forward’s transfer to Stamford Bridge, in a hammer blow to the Gunners’ transfer plans.
It is understood the Blues have agreed a £90million deal to sign the Ukrainian forward from under the noses of their London rivals, after making a late swoop to rob Arsenal of their top target.
Mudryk has made no secret of his desire to join Mikel Arteta’s side and Arsenal have been locked in negotiations for weeks, with three formal bids submitted.
However, the Premier League leaders have not been able to reach an agreement, allowing Chelsea to swoop in and take over.
