Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella has liked Moises Caicedo’s Instagram post, where he has expressed his desire to leave Brighton, amid transfer interest from Arsenal.
The Spanish defender himself pushed through a transfer to Chelsea in the summer, after only one season at the Amex Stadium, where he was voted the club’s best player.
Those actions didn’t sit well with the Brighton fans, well, after Arsenal expressed their interest in Moises Caicedo, it’s a sense of Deja vu for those on the south coast.
From Ben White to Cucurella, the European-chasing side can’t stop the leakage of their top players heading for the exit door any time they put in strong performances.
Well, with Arsenal sitting at the top of the Premier League title and needing cover for Thomas Partey, they have identified Caicedo as an option before Tuesday’s cut-off point.
In order to force a move, the player has taken to social media to push through a transfer. Understandably so, the comments section is full of Arsenal fans wanting him to join, but the post has also been liked by a certain Marc Cucurella, who understands how the highly-rated midfielder is feeling.
WILL ARSENAL GET THEIR MAN?
Money talks, and whilst Brighton haven’t let a key figure leave midway through the season, they have always opened the door when the money has been put on the table.
Will Arsenal, who are slightly worried about Thomas Partey’s recent rib injury, need defensive cover in the middle of the park, push the boat for the player during these coming days?
If they do, then it will only increase their chances of securing the Premier League title in May.In other news, Klopp offers 2-word description of Arthur in Liverpool training right now
