Manchester United completed their ‘biggest disastrous transfer’ in recent memory when they welcomed Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Old Trafford, football journalist Steve Bates has told GiveMeSport.

The right-back has been on the Red Devils’ books since a £50million switch from Crystal Palace was rubber-stamped in 2019, but he has struggled to convince boss Erik ten Hag of his capabilities.

According to the Manchester Evening News, West Ham United are interested in striking a loan deal which would see Wan-Bissaka spend the remainder of the season at the London Stadium.

The report suggests the Hammers have a close relationship with the defender’s representatives, Unique Sports Management, while he was informed that he could leave his current employers before the 2021/22 season reached its climax.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are another club in the race for Wan-Bissaka’s services after he has been made available for transfer by ten Hag.
