Manchester United ,centre-back Harry Maguire has reportedly turned down a move to Inter Milan after being linked with a shock move to Aston Villa earlier this month.
The England defender wants to stay at Old Trafford at least until the end of the season, but he could reconsider his options in the summer after struggling for game time under Erik ten Hag this term. According to the Daily Star, Maguire is ‘running out of patience’ at United and is ‘considering’ leaving the club in the summer, with Inter are expected to rekindle their interest in the close season.
Throughout the month, Villa were the bookmaker’s favourites to sign Maguire, but Inter are now in pole position at 8/1. Sky Bet have made Unai Emery’s side the 12/1 contenders to clinch his signature during the January transfer window.
