One of the players liked with Barcelona in recent times is Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Youssoufa Moukoko. The German striker is in the last six months of his contract with the Yellow and Black and has been on the radar of several top teams across Europe.
However, Fabrizio Romano has given a huge blow to Barcelona in race for the 17-year-old, claiming that he is in talks with Dortmund to extend his contract. There is a potential plan to sell him at the right time, like they did with Erling Harland and Jadon Sancho.
Moukoko already has the biggest clubs like Barcelona on high alert following an incredible start to this season with six goals across 14 games, including a winner against Schalke. He also has three assists to his name.
Further, there have been reports claiming that the teenage starlet dreams of wearing the Barcelona shirt.
Speaking about his future recently, Moukoko said in a press conference with Germany, “I will make my decision at the right time. I feel so happy at Dortmund and I know Edin Terzic trusts me.”
“You will find out if I decide to stay at Dortmund or not,” he added.
Dortmund will try to lock down the striker to a long-term deal, hoping they can offload him for a price similar to Haaland or Sancho. And even if they cannot, they have Jude Bellingham in their ranks, who will fetch no less than €100-120 million at the very least.
Apart from that, Barcelona are also keeping serious tabs on Brazilian prodigy Endrick, who is the subject of transfer interest from PSG, Real Madrid, and Chelsea. Either way, there is a lot left to unfold in both of their transfer stories.
