Ansu Fati
As Barcelona edge closer to the third El Clasico of the 2022/23 campaign later this week, they could be in line to receive a fitness boost.
Barça take on arch-rivals Real Madrid in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final at the Santiago Bernabeu on Thursday night.
Heading into the game, the Blaugrana have suffered back-to-back defeat against Manchester United and Almeria and will be itching to get back to winning ways.
However, they have been rocked by injury troubles of late, with Pedri and Ousmane Dembele ruled out of the contest. On Monday, it emerged that Robert Lewandowski will also miss the Clasico semi-final due to a hamstring injury.
The situation has left Xavi with just Raphinha and Ferran Torres as his attacking options as Ansu Fati is also dealing with a knock that led to him missing the weekend clash against Almeria.
However, according to Javi Miguel of AS, Fati is likely to be ready in time to face Real Madrid later this week at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The 20-year-old Spaniard did not train with the rest of the team today, but is expected to rejoin the group sessions under Xavi on Wednesday.
