Kylian Mbappe is reportedly losing the support of his Paris Saint-Germain teammates – with many angry at his high standing within the club.
The 23-year-old signed a new contract with the Ligue 1 giants last summer despite heavy interest from Real Madrid.
As part of the new deal, it’s believed Mbappe received greater power than any other player, including a say in sporting decisions.
Le Parisien claimed earlier this week that Mbappe feels ‘betrayed’ by the PSG hierarchy and wants to leave as early as the January transfer window.
L’Equipe have backed that up while also revealing PSG’s other players are becoming increasingly frustrated with Mbappe.
The World Cup winner is becoming an ‘isolated figure’ in the dressing room, while his mood fluctuates throughout the day.
Neymar is an influential figure in the PSG dressing room due to their high contingent of South American players, who are turning against Mbappe.
The duo have shared words already this season, although Neymar publicly denied a falling out last month.
Club captain Marquinhos is among the players, in addition to Spanish speakers.
It means Mbappe’s only support is fellow France internationals Presnel Kimpembe, Nordi Mukiele and Hugo Ekitike plus Achraf Hakimi.
