Romelu Lukaku‘s infamously bad touch reared its ugly head again for Inter Milan – leaving Napoli‘s substitutes chuckling away.

Chelsea loanee Lukaku has spent much of his Inter return sidelined with injury, which limited his minutes with Belgium at the World Cup too. But he’s now back to full fitness and started their crunch clash with Serie A leaders Napoli on Wednesday (January 4), which they won 1-0.

During the first half the striker received a straightforward pass from team-mate Matteo Darmian – but instead of bringing it under control he poked out his left leg and sent the ball out for a throw-in to the opposition.

The camera then cut to the Napoli bench to show two of their subs laughing on the bench. And fans watching on at home found it equally as funny.

One tweeted: “You know it’s peak when you got opposition players laughing at your touch.” Another asked: “How is it even possible to do that?”

Lukaku has made just six appearances in all competitions for Inter so far this season following his acrimonious departure from Chelsea. He’s keen to stay put in Milan when his loan is up at the end of the season.

He recently said: “I hope to stay at Inter also in the future. I want to continue here as I love this club, we will speak to Chelsea in order to find a solution. Todd Boehly decided to let me leave after I told him the truth about my relationship with Tuchel.”
